With over 30 years of youth soccer coaching experience, Coach Juan Sanchez has dedicated his career to developing young athletes both on and off the field. His former players have gone on to represent U.S. Youth National Teams, coach at the collegiate level, and join professional academy programs.

Passionate about making soccer accessible to all, Coach Juan co-founded Disan Soccer to provide quality training opportunities regardless of a family's financial circumstances. His mission is to help every child build confidence, character, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game.

Our PROGRAM

My name is Laura “Coach Cali” Diaz Valadez, President and Co-Founder of Disan Soccer.
I founded Disan Soccer from personal experience. Growing up in a low-income community, I had limited access to positive activities and faced environments with negative influences. At a young age, I chose soccer—and that decision gave me discipline, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Later, during my decade in law enforcement, I saw a recurring pattern among young adults in the correctional system: many lacked guidance, structure, and opportunity during childhood. That reinforced my belief that prevention starts early.
Disan Soccer was created to provide children with safe spaces, mentorship, and positive opportunities to grow.
We focus on whole-child development, not just soccer. Our program provides a structured, supportive environment that promotes:
- Physical activity and wellness
- Teamwork and communication
- Confidence and responsibility
- Social-emotional growth
We offer a weekly, on-site school program designed to keep students active, engaged, and supported.
Our Head Coach and Co-Founder, Coach Juan, brings over 30 years of experience. Together with our team, we are committed to delivering a high-quality program for every child.
We believe every child deserves access to positive opportunities, regardless of financial circumstances.
Our program is designed to be affordable, and we actively seek sponsorships to provide scholarships and reduce costs. Our goal is simple: ensure no child is left out.
We are driven by the belief that early support and strong mentorship can change lives.
